Gold Opal
taking care of an opal?
I have a gold ring with diamonds on it and this opal that is raised up so the light cathces underneath. problem is light isn't the only thing that gets caught... how do i clean it? i know opals cant get wet. help?
As far as I know, Opals can get wet, but can't be placed in jewelry cleaner. A soft brush and a little bit of white vinegar. You can also soak it in warm water mixed with mild dish detergent...like Dawn.
