What total carat weight heart necklace should I get my girlfriend for her birthday and from where?
She'll be 29 and we've been dating about 6 month. I've looked at Zales and found nice looking 1/4 to 1/2 carat tw and 1 carat that don't look as nice. I don't want to look cheap. Also, I found some nice white gold heart with a birthstone from Tiffany's. I'm going to spend up to $400. Would you ladies rather have a nice diamond heart from Zales or just a plain, no diamond, heart from Tiffany's? Is the little blue box worth it?
quite honestly id go with tiffanys. diamonds seems like too much for six months unless youre like completely in love with her and she feels the same way.

It all seriously depends on her personal taste. Pay attention to what kind of jewelry she wears and compare it to potential buys and then make a decison based on that, no one girl on here is going to have the same taste as your girlfriend.
Personally, I would NOT go with any kind of diamonds. Diamonds will seem like way too much for 6 months. Id say diamonds maaayyybe on one year, but definetly not before that. Tiffanys is definetly a good way to go for 6 months, and most of the stuff from there will be very close to your budget!
