How to get ugly psoriasis on my knees to go away?

When I was younger about 21 I was playing basketball w/ neices and nephew. Well I fell and scrapped my knees well, it never really went away and became psoriasis, I have it on my elbows and scalp too, it's heriditary from my Grandpa I heard. Well, every summer I despise having to wear shorts or short skirts. Is there any way I could get rid of this? It seems worse now than then: and I even had the different kind of meds to put on from Dr's. So hopefully someone could clue me in if there was anything new to help get rid of this.

I had psoriasis a while back on my shin and it itched like crazy..I was told to get this med called psoriasin i found it at walmart it got rid of it in about a week i couldnt believe it ..
