My girlfriend and I are getting engaged. She doesn't like the traditional engagement rings at all. She wants something very vintage and antique/gothic. She loves marcasite and natural looking gem stones like the ones at silver-insanity and Toltec. But when I shop for rings for her, they're barely even $20. She obviously doesn't care about the price (and I certainly don't mind saving a few dollars), but I don't want people thinking I'm cheap for not buying something nice enough. Plus I want to make sure this lasts a long time. Is there something similar looking to marcasite that can pass for an engagement ring? Like in the $100-$200 price range?
