What style engagement ring do you women prefer?

I am looking to buy a unique engagement ring and I want to surprise her with the ring. For her, uniqueness would be more important than anything else. Right now I am looking at a white gold band with a setting that is kind of like a tiara with 2 marquise shaped purple diamonds or marquise blue sapphires inlaid in the ring on each side of the diamond. What do you girls like?

I have told my bf not to worry about an engagement ring when the time comes, just a simple gold wedding band will do.

*Diamonds I like are Princess and Emerald cut

*Gemstones I like are Emeralds (too fragile for an engagement ring) tsavourite, garnet, medium (bright) blue sapphire, aquamarine, topaz and my favourite unique ones are moonstone and alexandrite, funny enough both are my bf's birthstones!

* My favourite metal is rose gold.
